UttarAndhra State

Namaste UttarAndhra is at crossroads. Over the last 75 years, very limited public funds were spent by state government on this region. Development is stunted. All political parties have neglected but the leaders from outside the region dominated UttarAndhra politically, economically and culturally. After bifurcation, Vizag got raw deal. Godavari water was lifted to stabilise Krishna basin at the expense of UttarAndhra Sujala Sravanti project 2009. People of UttarAndhra belonging to 26 castes that came to Hyderbad in search of livlihoods were divested of reservation. And parties led by Rayalaseema people paid lip service. Now people of Guntur region march in to the UttarAndhra region denouncing Vizag. If people of UttarAndhra meakly accept this aggression, our generation will be seen as that generation allowed colonial powers in to India.
